California fire victims have until Nov. 1 to apply for Disaster CalFresh food benefits

SACRAMENTO – The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) is reminding residents affected by wildfires in Sonoma, Napa, Butte, Lake, Mendocino, Nevada and Yuba counties of the Nov. 1 deadline to apply for disaster food assistance through the Disaster CalFresh program.
