KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Join the Ely Stage Stop & Country Museum on Saturday, Nov. 7, as Steve Beal, Keeper of the Quaich, 2015 Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame inductee, and former senior master of whisky for DIAGEO, the world's largest producer of whisky, returns for another spirited evening of whisky tasting.
When asked why he started working in whisky, Beale replied, “Because I loved it. I was working at a well-known culinary school and one day got a call, ‘Stephen, put your kilt on, we need ya.’”
Learn about the role of whisky in our culture from the founding of America to present day. Enjoy tastings of whisky from several producers. Feast on a multi-course meal catered by Rosey Cooks.
The event will be held in the Ely barn from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 7.
Tickets are $75 per person and include the tasting and food pairing.
