LAKEPORT, Calif. – Students and graduates from Lower Lake High School classes of 1980 to 89 are invited to attend a multi-class reunion the weekend of July 24 to 26 at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Lakeport.

Faculty and staff who worked at the school during that time also are invited, and guests are welcome.

The event is expected to bring an influx of people into Lake County and have a significant economic impact on the community in the way of lodging, restaurants and other services the alumni will patronize.

More than 500 attendees are expected including guests. Many alumni will be returning to Lake County from out of state and even out of the country.

The reunion is the vision of Vickie Martinelli-Lewis, a member of the class of 1984, whose dream it has been to bring these classes together in an event which will “put happiness in everyone’s heart.”

She planted the seed for the reunion more than one year ago, and has brought together a team of alumni from many of the classes of the decade to help pull it all together.

The event kicks off with a meet and greet on Friday, July 24, at 7 p.m., with the main event on Saturday, July 25, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person for both nights.

More details can be found at the reunion’s official Web site, www.lowerlakehighschoolmulticlassreunion.com or by contacting Martinelli-Lewis at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
