“When I was an amateur fighter pursuing my pro-card, sponsorships helped me greatly. Required medicals for an amateur fighter was over $100, and now as a professional, medicals are a minimum of $2,000 to be considered to participate in an event,” said John O’Donnell, team member of Jameson’s Submission Coalition.

“With the knowledge gleaned through my experiences as a Mixed Martial Artist including all of the support from sponsorships, I am thankful for the opportunity to give back to our local community of Martial Artists, both adults as well as our youth. Though fight training side by side with fellow martial artists motivates me, it is working with our youth that inspires me and really puts my life as a coach, friend and mentor in perspective,” he said.

“FDR said that, 'Although we may not be able to build a future for our youth we can build our youth for a future.' No one knows where life may lead us but by preparing ourselves, we can be better equipped. Martial arts and its teachings provide discipline, respect, determination, and perseverance. It builds confidence and self-respect in our youth, and allows them the opportunity to pursue the fastest growing sport in our nation,” O'Donnell added.

If you would like tickets to the event, or would like to sponsor the Nov. 15 event at Robinson Rancheria Resort & Casino, call John O’Donnell at 775-217-8368 or Aaron Jameson at 707-245-5682.

Your sponsorship helps make events like this possible, helps us provide high quality professional staffing and safety for the fighters, and helps aspiring young amateur fighters make their dream of competing a reality.
