KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Lake County Historical Society will enjoy its annual potluck picnic at Ely Stage Stop & Country Museum on Sunday, June 30, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Join them to relax and break bread together.
The speaker will be Dr. Harry Lyons, talking on “How Did Here Get Here: The History of Lake County Geology.”
The Ely Stage Stop & Country Museum is located at 9921 Soda Bay Road, Kelseyville.
For people going north on Highway 29 toward Kelseyville, turn right on Highway 281 (Soda Bay Road at Kit’s Corner); go about one mile and turn left into the driveway, follow the driveway to the parking area.
For people going south on Highway 29 toward Lower Lake, turn left on Highway 281 (Soda Bay Road at Kit’s Corner); go about one mile and turn left into the driveway, follow the driveway to the parking area.
They will have their picnic in the new barn.
The society will supply hamburgers, hot dogs, buns and light refreshments. Please bring a dish to share, a plate, utensils and a chair for each person with you. Please, if your dish needs to be cold keep it on ice.
Come, relax and enjoy. Bring your friends. There is a $5 donation for guests 18 and older to defray expenses. The $5 will go toward membership if you decide to join at the picnic.
