Lakeport Women’s Civic Club helps clean things up at Lake Family Resource Center
KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Lakeport Women’s Civic Club President Clare Stenge was on hand on Wednesday to provide Lake Family Resource Center Director Jennifer Dodd and Financial Director Lisa Fronsman, with a check for $3,000 to fund some new washing machines at the Main Street facility in Kelseyville.

After years of operating with household washing machines designed to wash nine loads of laundry per week and spending most of their time and money on repairs and replacements, Lake Family Resource Center will be able to purchase industrial machines designed to wash nine loads per day.

This is going to make a huge difference and Lakeport Women’s Civic Club could not be any happier about being able to help.

It was quite fascinating to hear about some of the things that Lake Family Resource Center is involved in and some of the many ways that they support families in our community.

The club is looking forward to having Dodd come and speak at one of its upcoming luncheons.

You can be a part of the amazing team that is Lakeport Women’s Civic Club as well. Join them for lunch on the first Friday of the month at Riviera Hills Country Club.

The gathering begins at 11 a.m. and the meeting begins at 11:30 a.m.

Lunch is just $15 per person and includes dessert and an engaging speaker.
